Sunriver Sunfest

High Desert Rendezvous
Rendezvous celebrates the Best of the West and raises over $250,000 each year for the High Desert Museum. High-end auction items, dancing, great food and drinks, old and new friends-this is one of Central Oregon’s signature events.www.highdesertrendezvous.org
Traditions
From Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day, Sunriver Resort hosts Traditions, a magical experience with over 150 family events that captures the best of the season and brings the holiday to life. The month-long celebration officially starts with a 6,000 person event, Grand Illumination and includes eight musical performances on two stages, various characters entertaining children while waiting to visit Santa, sleigh rides and the lighting of the Sunriver Lodge that features over 500,000 holiday lights. Other traditions include breakfast with Santa, a high tea with Teddy Bear, holiday crafts, gingerbread cookie decorating, elf tuck-ins, and Gingerbread Junction, a cornerstone charitable.

The Rally Recreational Vehicle Show
With a goal of exploring Central Oregon with like-minded enthusiasts, 7000 participants from across the country come to the Deschutes County Expo Center in their recreational vehicles for five full days to enjoy the best of area. Specialized Meetings & Events provides daily tours for the participants. Tour groups enjoy the fantastic scenery on the Mount Hood Railroad, a rustic cowboy dinner at Silver Lake, lunch at the top of Mt. Bachelor, visits to legendary ghost towns, and stops to local Central Oregon icon establishments such as the Deschutes Brewery & Shops at the Old Mill.
Specialized Meetings & Events manages all aspects of the daily tours ranging from scheduling, transportation, boxed lunches, catered meals and on-site dining. The tours – both full-day and part-day - start as early as 6:00 a.m. and return to the Expo Center in time for evening entertainment.
